Colour: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is very light wear to all four corner tips. There are some fine hairline cracks in places along the extreme edges and scattered in a few places throughout the composition, all of which are only visible upon close inspection. There is loss to a few of the finest impasto peaks and a small spot of paint loss to the centre left of the extreme top edge. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
