Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the paper tone tends more towards cream in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. It is hinged to the backing board in the top two corners on the reverse. There is very light undulation to the right half of the composition. There is very light wear to all four corners and in places along all four extreme edges. There are two spots of skinning with associated paint loss: one at the left edge towards the top left hand corner, and one at the top edge close to the top left hand corner. There is a further spot of skinning towards the lower centre of the left edge. There are a few tiny tears in the bottom half of the left extreme edge. There are a few faint creases in the bottom left and right hand corners. There is a further very faint crease at the lower centre of the right edge. There is a tiny stain at the right edge in the top right hand corner. There are three small repaired tears to the top edge: one in the top left hand corner and two towards the upper right hand corner.
