Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is slight undulation to the paper throughout, notably in the upper right-hand quadrant. There is light wear to the bottom right-hand corner tip. Catalogue Note
"In my view a great abstract painting offers one the possibility to travel without having to endure the tedium of a journey. Now the question can be put: does art like his make a difference to the world, as he would have wished? Or to phrase it another way, would the world be less without it? The answer to both questions is very simple: yes." (The artist cited in: David Carrier, Sean Scully, London 2004, p. 14)
