Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer and richer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. It is hinged to the backing board in the top two corners. There are a few tiny spots of light foxing scattered in places throughout the composition. The extreme top edge of the sheet is slightly uneven, original to the work's execution. There are a few tiny tears in places along the extreme edges hidden behind the mount. There is light undulation and handling creases scattered in places throughout, predominantly along the top and bottom edges and a few slightly deeper creases along the left edge. There are two small media accretions above and below the signature in the lower right-hand quadrant. There is one small spot of discolouration towards the upper centre of the extreme right edge and one extremely faint circular ring of discolouration above this. The faint handling marks scattered in places along all four edges are original to the work's execution.
