Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
Flower thrower: There are two minute brown fly-spots between the figure's legs and one below his left foot. There is a small irregularity to the canvas in the bottom left corner. Some superficial dust has gathered along the extreme top edge. There is a very small rub mark to the top extreme edge, directly above the flower bouquet.
Laugh Now Monkey: There are two minute ochre-coloured stains visible upon close inspection to the canvas surface; one approximately 8 cm. to the right of the bottom left corner tip; the other in the upper left quadrant, approximately 15 cm. in from the top left corner tip. There are two tiny fly-spots to the lower centre of the monkey's body, adjacent to the text reading "in charge". Some light superficial dust has gathered along the top edge.
Bomb Hugger: There is a small very faint media stain to the centre of the lower left quadrant of the composition, approximately 8 cm. to the left of the character's skirt. There is a small faint rub mark on the left edge, approximately 7cm above the lower left corner tip, and one in the upper right corner tip.
