Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality of the original is richer and more vibrant. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Some very light wear is noticeable upon very close inspection to the extreme edges and corner tips. There are a number of fine hairline tension cracks along the four extreme edges. There is a small matrix of fine cracks in the lower right quadrant, approximately 20cm. below the centre of the canvas, away from the right extreme edge, as well as another in the upper left quadrant between the figure's head and the extreme left edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
