Condition
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is lighter and more vibrant in the original, with crispier and brighter whites.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are some minor traces of dust adhering in a few scattered places to the thicker impasto peaks as well as to the overturn edges. Some very light wear is noticeable in places to the four extreme corner tips upon very close inspection. A number of minute hairline tension cracks are present along the four extreme overturn edges, resulting in a few scattered isolated specks of tiny paint loss. There is a very light discoloured rub mark 5cm above the upper left corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
