- diameter: 4cm, 1 1/2 in.
circular, enamelled over a wavy engine-turned ground, the hinged cover set with a rose-cut diamond and with laurel surround, with workmaster's initials and scratched inventory number 14707, 88 standard

Condition
There is a shallow chip to the enamel 1.5cm long at the back of the hinge. One minor scratch to the enamel on the cover.

Originally this item was contained a red leather case ,which is illustrated in the 2004 exhibition catalogue. It is strikingly similar in form to the green enamel powder case also made by Henrik Wigström and offered as part of this collection, see lot 45.
