Description
- width: 5cm, 2in.; diameter: 3cm, 1 1/8 in.
the first gold-mounted amethystine quartz with hinged lid, red cabochon thumbpiece, stamped 830; the second compressed circular rose quartz with silver-gilt mounts, with Austrian import marks for 1901-21
Provenance
The first box contains a paper note signed 'Ernest Augustus' and dated 1908.
Condition
Larger: There are hair cracks to the stone along naturally occurring inclusions which do not detract from the overall appearance.
Smaller: Excellent condition.
