Condition
The following condition report has been provided by Simon Parkes of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc. 502 East 74th St. New York, NY 212-734-3920, simonparkes@msn.com , an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's.
This charming little picture is well preserved. It is painted on a panel which has one crack running through the pageboy on the right side. The remainder of the picture is slightly dirty yet not unattractively so and a fresh varnish will make the picture presentable. There do not appear to be any restorations of note except for a few spots running along the old crack in the panel. In general the condition is very good.
