This beautiful little work is in excellent condition and should be hung as is. It is hard to properly read under ultraviolet light but it seems more than likely that it is more or less unretouched, except possibly in the corners and around the edges. All of the details in the figures and the foliage are extremely well preserved and this picture should be hung as is.
