• cal. 3155 automatic nickel lever movement, 31 jewels, mono-metallic compensation balance, adjusted to five positions and temperatures • meteorite dial, applied Arabic five minute divisions with calf's-head-cut diamond indexes, sweep center seconds, sector aperture for day, magnified aperture at 3 o'clock for date • heavy tonneau water-resistant-type case, sapphire crystal, bezel set with 40 single-cut diamonds, screw-down crown, screw-down case back • case, dial and movement signed • with a platinum Rolex Masterpiece bracelet and deployant clasp
Condition
The movement is running, however we recommend service soon. It is numbered 3 9318487. The dial is in nice condition with no wear visible. The case shows surface wear and surface scuffs, particularly to the band by 9 o'clock and the outside of the back. Overall, it is in nice condition as it has probably only been used a handful of times. The numbers between the lugs are 18946 and K559031. The number inside the back is 2286. The bracelet is generally in nice condition with light scuffs and light wear. The bracelet has an overall length of 190MM.

The process of creating a dial out of a stone surface, such as 🍷meteorite, is especially difficult, as the stone must be cut to a flat piece only microns thick. The illustrious Stern Creations dial company was responsible for developing the technology necessary for such precision cutting and currently produces Rolex's meteorite dials.
