• cal. 1570 automatic nickel lever movement, 26 jewels, mono-metallic compensation balance, adjusted to five positions and temperature • black matte dial, luminescent triangular, dot and baton indexes, luminescent Mercedes-style hands, sweep center seconds, magnified date aperture, Submariner printed in red • tonneau water-resistant-type case, rotating black bezel calibrated for 60 units, screw-down crown, engraving to the screw back • case, dial and movement signed • with a stainless steel Rolex Oyster flip-lock bracelet
Condition
The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The imperfections that appear on the dial in the catalogue photograph are in fact scratches to the crystal and the dial itself is quite clean. The case bears scuffs from light wear throughout. The numbers between the lugs are 2824715 and 1680. The inside of the case is stamped 1680 and IV 70, indicating that it was produced in the fourth quarter of 1970. The case back is engraved 'Ross L. Miller.' The bracelet has an overall length of 170mm.
