Catalogue Note

Rol𓆉ex made a limited amount of dials like the present one, with black borders to the luminescent indexes, rather than metallic borders. This was an effort to help make the dial more legible and easier to use. Today, this unusual variation is seen as more collectible in the market.

It is interesting to compare this ﷺlot with the previous one to see how the indexes and text printing are d𒉰ifferent on watches produced only two years apart.
