Condition

The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The dial is aged, with some spotting around 12 o'clock and between 9 o'clock and the central arbor, as well as some discoloration between 3 and 6 o'clock, which is visible in the catalogue photograph. The case has been polished and now shows few surface scuffs.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by an Extract from the Archiv♐es confirming production in 1957 and sale on December 18🐼th of that year.

The cal. 12"'AM-400 amagneti♍c movement debuted in the late 1950s. It was fitted with a gold lever so that it could withstand and maintain accuracy near high magnetic fields. Most of these movements were put in two models, Ref. 2570/1 and Ref. 3460.

The present lot was retailed by Trucchi, a prominent jewelr🥀y and watch retailer in Naples.
