• cal. 13.5 manual winding circular nickel lever movement, 20 jewels, free-sprung Gyromax balance, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions • textured blue dial, applied baton indexes • 18k white gold Ellipse case, the bezel set with 28 graduating diamonds • integral 18k white gold bracelet • case, dial, movement and bracelet signed
Condition
The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The textured blue dial is very attractive. Please note the slight loss to the blue finish, most notably between 10 and 11 o'clock. The case shows only light wear, with light scuffs and crisp hallmarks on the case back and on the bracelet clasp.
Together with a facsimile of an insurance appraisal from Patek Philippe for 36,500 CHF, dated July 10th, 2002. The watch is also accompanied by cut portions of the white gold bracelet.
The diamonds are approximately F-G in color and VVS in clarity.

Accompanied by an Extr🍷act from the Archives confirming production in 1969 and sale on November 28th of that year. Together with a facsimile of an insurance appraisal from Patek Philippe dated July 10th, 2002.
The present lot represents an early example from Patek Philippe's now-iconic Ellipse line, introduced in 1968. The firm continues to have great success with this instantly recognizable form, the proportions of which are based on an ancient mathematical ratio called the Golden Sectionꦐ.
