Condition

The canvas is lined. There are two triangles of retouching to the upper left and upper right corners; the one on the left is 3 by 3cm., the one on the right 2 by 4cm. There are scattered areas of retouching throughout the top half of the work, particularly clustered around the rigging and masts of the two boats. There are small scattered spots of retouching in the lower left quadrant, and a few spots of retouching to the stern of the left boat. All retouching is visible under UV light. Apart from two small paint losses to the bottom right corner, this work is in fair condition.
