Condition
The canvas is lined. There is a 10 by 2cm. area of retouching along the upper left edge, a 2cm. area of retouching to the lower left corner, some scattered spots of retouching to the red of the flowers and some further spots and areas to the green in the vase and to the right of the vase. There are some scattered spots and areas of retouching to the red in the upper right quadrant and to the black in the left quadrant. All retouchings are visible under UV. Apart from a pin-head sized paint loss to the centre of the lower right quadrant, this work is in good condition.
Colours: Overall the colours are fairly accurate, however the greens of the background and the yellows of the flowers are stronger and richer in the original.
