Condition

Work is in fairly good condition. The work is laid down on acidic card and sheet is time darkened overall. There are two generations of mat stains, particularly visible at right edge. There is a smudge in the lower edge of the table (which may have happened in the artist's studio). Flattened crease in upper left corner and a few small smudges and discolorations in background. Color: paper is less yellow, as are the red tones, than appears in catalogue
