Condition

Very good condition. Work is painted on paper laid down on canvas, which is inherent to the artist's process. Surface is very slightly dirty. Small areas of loss along upper edge, especially in upper left due to frame abrasion. Small tack hole in lower left corner. Under UV light: no apparent inpainting. Two small spots of gold colored frame paint fluoresce along extreme left edge. Otherwise fine. Color: Much brighter and cleaner than in catalogue illustration.
