Condition

The board is sound. There are two nailhead-sized paint losses to the sides of the top two corners of the uppermost rectangle of the relief, and a 1.5cm paint loss running around the lower right corner of the same panel. Apart from some thin, feint and barely visible lines of craquelure to the paint surface of the relief, this work is in very good condition. There are several scuff marks and areas of paint loss to all four edges of the frame, partly visible in the catalogue, as well as some light surface dirt. Colors: The relief and artist's mount are much less yellow in the original, and the frame is a greener shade of grey.
