Acquired by the present owners in February 2005

Condition

In very good condition. The work is unlined. The surface is clean. There are two thin scrapes in the pigment in the window of the house on the left but these appear likely to be original to the work. Under UV light: some scattered strokes of inpainting just below left of the central white flowering tree. A few strokes around extreme edges to address frame abrasion. Otherwise fine.
