Condition
Work is in fairly good condition. Canvas is wax lined. There is some light craquelure in the white sail at far right and two very small areas of paint loss along the top of the mast at far right. Under UV light: There are numerous small areas of inpainting scattered mostly throughout left-hand side of the sky, and two additional small areas of inpainting towards the right edge of the white sail at far right. There is a two inch long line of inpainting to address a corresponding surface abrasion towards top right edge.
Colors: Overall fairly accurate in catalogue illustration.
