Condition

Good condition. Original canvas. Taped at edges. A thin 3-inch repaired tear (reinforced with glue on reverse). There may be some strengthening in "V" and left section of "D". Some of the darker, original pigments fluoresce. A line of inpainting 1 inch just below yellow flower and upper left, and strokes in green leaf at upper left. Varnish is heavy and difficult to read.
