The canvas is unlined and well stretched. Under ultraviolet light there appears to be a slightly unevenly applied layer of mildly opaque varnish. There is inpainting in the lower left corner a 4 in. line along the bottom edge consistent with frame abrasions. Otherwise in very good condition.
