This painting has been recently restored. The canvas has been lined using Beva-371 as an adhesive and this lining is nicely stabilizing the surface. The paint layer has been cleaned and retouched and the picture is ready to be hung as is. Under ultraviolet light there are a few spots of retouch visible in the figures on the left and in the upper right corner. There are few other tiny dots of retouch elsewhere however overall the condition is fairly respectable. Morales's pictures are very often unstable and this picture has been well stabilized for the future. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.)
