Designed as a graduated chain of floral clusters centering oval cabochon emeralds, rubies and sapphires, within petal frames set with a total of 489 round diamonds weighing approximately 36.00 carats, spaced by round faceted emeralds, rubies and sapphires set in pairs and singly, mounted in 18 karat gold, total length approximately 25 inches, separates in to three segments, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered N.Y. 34456. With signed box.

The necklace separates into a center segment of 16 inches with extensions at either end of 5 and 3½ inches. It does not form a bracelet. All three segments are signed VCA and numbered 34456. The center segment is also stamped c. 1963. The colored stones are semi-opaque, but of bright colors and the diamonds are approximately F-H color and VVS-VS clarity. The colors are deeper than the catalogue illustration. Fitted with safety closures at each segment. In good condition overall.
