Description
The hinged bangle designed as two confronting lions' heads centering a cabochon sapphire, the faces and manes pavé-set with round diamonds, their eyes set with 4 small round diamonds of yellow hue, the bodies froming the bracelet sides decorated with stripes of cabochon rubies and cabochon sapphires alternating with bands of round diamonds, the total diamond weight 22.75 carats, mounted in gold and silver.
Condition
Several small round diamonds missing from the lion's heads, diamonds are SI, near colorless (decorative in quality). Large cabochon sapphire at clasp loose in setting. Some colored stones with surface reaching inclusions. Yellow diamonds are not tested for natural origin of color. Colored stones are a shade deeper than indicated by catalogue illustrations. Gross weight approximately 108 dwts, Interior Circumference 6½ inches.
