Catalogue Note
This stickpin was likely designed by Paulding Farnham who was responsible for Tiffany's enameled floral jewels during the time of the Paris Exposition of 1889. For a thistle stickpin similar to the one offered here, see American Jewelry, Glamour and Tradition, Penny Proddow and Debra Healy, p. 43, no. 14.
