Description
The half-hoop earclips and ring of bombé form set with round rubies set in clustered circles, ring approximately size 5½, earclips signed Cartier, Paris, maker's mark, assay marks; the ring unsigned.
Condition
Ring is slightly out of round so size is approximately 5 1/2. It is possibly by Cartier but cannot be guaranteed as it is not signed and bears no marks other than the French import assay mark. One of the matching earclips is signed Cartier Paris. The rubies are a deep slightly brownish red color. All pieces in good condition. Rubies are deeper in color that indicated by catalogue illustration.
