The necklace designed as a flexible band of square-cut diamonds within borders of square-cut rubies, the center set with a pear-shaped ruby weighing approximately 2.00 carats framed by square-cut diamonds, the total diamond weight approximately 36.00 carats, the rubies weighing approximately 31.00 carats; the earclips set with 2 pear-shaped rubies together weighing approximately 2.25 carats, the square-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.70 carats, bordered by square-cut rubies weighing approximately 2.50 carats, all mounted in 18 karat gold, necklace length 15 inches, signed VCA, France, numbered NY 54471and NY 54472, assay marks. 

Condition

The necklace has 270 rubies for approximately 31.00 carats, 416 diamonds for approximately 36.00 carats. The earrings have 28 rubies for approximately 2.50 carats and 56 diamonds for approximately 3.70 carats. The rubies are a medium very slightly brownish red color and are of fine clarity. Diamonds are approximately F-G color and VVS- VS clarity. Very flexible and well made. In good condition. Signed VCA France on safety closure and numbered NY 54471 on necklace. Earclips are signed VCA France and numbered NY 54472. Earring posts are currently bent down, but could easily be re-adapted for pierced ears.
