Description

The flexible front of the necklace composed of swags of oval rubies weighing approximately 49.00 carats, surmounted by a row of baguette diamonds, supported by knots of baguette diamonds, continuing to a double row of round diamonds, the total diamond weight approximately 25.35 carats, the matching earclips set with 18 oval rubies weighing approximately 16.50 carats, supported by 62 round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 7.35 carats, mounted in platinum, necklace length 16½ inches.

Condition

The rubies are a medium deep shade of slightly purplish red (more deeply colored than pictured in the catalogue) and are of good clarity. Well matched in color and cut. Diamonds are approximately G-H color and VVS-VS clarity. Very flexible and of good heft and in very good condition. Earrings length 1 7/8 inches. The clasp of the necklace found on both sides of center ruby segment.
