Description
Set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 14.49 carats, flanked by clusters of 10 pear-shaped and marquise-shaped diamonds, further bordered by small round diamonds, altogether weighing a total of approximately 2.85 carats, mounted in platinum, size 6¼.
Condition
Very good condition. Please see AGL report no. CS 38632 stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin; no gemological evidence of heat enhancement present. The sapphire is a vibrant , medium-deep, very slightly violetish blue and eye-clean. There is one small area of slight windowing in one quadrant. The diamonds are approximately H-J color, VS clarity.
