Description
The graduated floral motif set with 8 cushion-shaped sapphires weighing 111.06 carats, further decorated with clusters of 36 pear-shaped, 23 round and 57 marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 28.50 carats, mounted in platinum, length 14½ inches, signed Van Clief.
Condition
See AGL report stating that 7 of the sapphires are of Ceylon origin, with no heat treatment and 1 sapphire is of Madagascar origin, with evidence of heat treatment. The sapphires are a medium slightly violetish blue to medium blue color and are slightly to moderately included. Diamonds are approximately G-I color and VS-SI clarity. In good condition and fitted with a safety closure. Signed Van Clief on plaque at reverse of center link.
