The graduated collar decorated with 5 carved, Mogul-style emeralds set within gold frames applied with black enamel, spaced by black enamel links collet-set with 20 round diamonds weighing approximately 1.40 carats, decorated at the sides with hammered gold rope twist borders, mounted in 18 karat gold, length 16½ inches, signed Webb.
Condition
The diamonds are G-H color, VVS-VS clarity. The 5 carved emeralds measuring approximately 36 by 28 mm and 23 by 19 mm. The emeralds are tranclucent. Diamonds are approximately F-G color and VS clarity. Enamel is intact except for minor chipping in a few places. Not perceptible with the naked eye. Heavy, fitted with a safety closure, in good condition and signed Webb.
