The brooch designed as a stylized seahorse of carved nephrite, the eyes set with 2 marquise-shaped diamonds, the mane and tail set with round diamonds, the body decorated with marquise-shaped rubies, completed by a ruby and diamond tassel ornament on his forehead, the total diamond weight approximately 5.50 carats, mounted in 18 karat gold and platinum, signed Webb; the ring composed of a fluted dome of nephrite, collet set with an oval cabochon ruby, mounted in 18 karat gold, size 6, signed Webb. 

Condition

RING: Ruby measures approximately 11.7 by 9.3 mm and is an opaque medium pink-red color. Signed Webb inside upper gallery. BROOCH: Rubies are a bright medium red color and of good clarity. Diamonds are approxiamtely G-H color and VVS-VS clarity. Signed Webb. Both pieces are in good condition.
