The single strand necklace composed of 30 jadeite beads measuring approximately 14.0 to 13.9 mm., decorated at the sides and clasp with openwork links of geometric design set with old European-cut and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 7.25 carats, mounted in platinum, length 23 inches, clasp signed Cartier, Paris, French assay marks; the earclips composed of split jade beads framed by old European-cut, single-cut and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats, mounted in platinum, signed Cartier, Paris. With floral patterned cardboard box signed Cartier.
Condition
The NECKLACE clasp is signed Cartier, Paris, on the rim, the tongue has partial maker's mark and French assay mark for platinun and is indistinctly numbered vertically _2248?, the two side links have maker's marks and French assay marks (probably a pair of clips originally). The jade beads are a medium light slightly yellowish green and are mottled. Diamonds are approximately G-I color and VS-SI clarity. The EARCLIPS are signed Cartier, Paris on the side of the clip backs. Similar to quality of the necklace. All pieces in good condition overall.
