The flexible graduated necklace set with 69 oval and cushion-shaped sapphires weighing approximately 120.00 carats, studded throughout with 120 round diamonds weighing approximately 7.20 carats, the sides accented with scroll motifs of round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 3.20 carats, mounted in platinum, length 14 inches, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 69.687, French assay marks.

Condition
Good condition with light surface wear to the mounting. Very well made and wonderfully flexible. The sapphires are a slightly violetish medium blue, predominantly eye-clean and nicely matched. The diamonds are approximately F-G-H color, VVS-VS clarity. Signed on the tongue clasp. Fitted with a safety closure. Dates from the 1950s-60s.
