Composed of 33 black cultured pearls measuring approximately 11.8 to 9.4 m., accented at intervals with rondelles set with round yellow diamonds, the center set with a black button pearl of approximately 11.9 by 12.6 mm., supporting an articulated double fringe of yellow diamonds anchored by a black pearl drop of approximately 12.9 mm. and a white pearl drop of approximately 12.9 mm., the whole set with numerous round, pear-shaped and marquise-shaped diamonds of yellow and orangy-yellow color weighing approximately 16.50 carats, mounted in gold, length 15 inches, signed VCA, numbered NY 59240, two segments at the back detach to shorten. With signed box.
Condition
The pearls vary in color from deep greenish gray to deep gray, with strong overtones of pink, lavender, blue and green. With good luster and minor to moderate blemishing. The white pearl is a silver cream color with overtones of blue and pink, with good luster and minute blemishing. Diamonds are vibrant shades of yellow to brownish orangy yellow and are predominantly SI clarity. Two segments of 7/8 inch and 1 3/8 inches are detachable. Signed VCA N.Y. 59240 on reverse of floral motif center link.
