The brooch designed as a stylised ribbon set with brilliant-cut diamonds, enhanced with a cross motif set with oval and step-cut aquamarines, mounted in yellow and platinum, signed Paloma Picasso, Tiffany & Co.; the pair of ear clips set to the surmount with a circular-cut sapphire bordered by brilliant-cut diamonds, suspending a drop similarly set, mounted in yellow gold, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, maker's marks.

The brooch stamped 750 for gold and Pt 950 for platinum, the earclips stamped 750 for gold and numbered 134522. The aquamarine of a bright blue colour, well saturated and well matched, the diamonds of good brilliance. With a double pin to the reverse. Minor tarnish to metal. Strong earclips, without posts. Total diamond weight for the earclips approximately 3.20 carats, of an average H colour, VS-SI clarity. The yellow sapphires of medium colour saturation, well matched. Overall in good condition.
