The octagonal step-cut sapphire weighing 4.53 carats set within a border of circular-cut diamonds, mounted in yellow and blackened white gold,
Condition
Stamped 750 for gold. Sapphire a purplish blue hue with good saturation of colour, overall clean crystal with minor inclusions. Total diamond weight stated to be approximately 1.20 carats, old mine cuts. For the most part H-I colour, VS-SI clarity as gauged in the mount, some stones with minor chips noticeable with the aid of a 10x lens. Hardly any signs of wear to the yellow gold mount, some minor tarnish, in good condition.
