Designed as a series of rectangular plaques, pierced and millegrain-set with circular-, rose-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds and three similarly shaped rubies, to an engraved gallery, mounted in platinum,
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for platinum to the bracelet, French assay marks for gold to the tongue of clasp. Rubies a medium slightly purplish (pinkish) red hue, moderately strong saturation of colour, one with more purplish (pinkish) hue, typical crystal inclusions visible to the naked eye, one stone poorly fitting in the collet-setting. Rubies probably later replacements where original diamonds were removed. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 14.00-16.00 carats, of mixed colours and clarities. Two cushion-shaped diamonds measuring approximately 6.5 x 6.0 x 3.9mm and 6.0 x 5.4 x 3.9mm, estimated to weigh approximately 1.26 and 1.05 carats respectively, I-J colour, SI2-I1 clarity in our experts opinion. Secure clasp, safety catch to one side. Scratches and indentations to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
