Description
Comprising: a yellow gold bag of mesh design, opening to reveal a hinged compartment inscribed Daisy from Jessy, May 1910, the clasp set with two cabochon rubies, the frame set with circular-cut diamonds and calibré-cut rubies, French assay marks and numbered; a brooch/watch of flower head design, the circular white dial applied with Roman and Arabic numerals, to the circular-cut and cushion-shaped ruby bezel, the petals set with foiled back topaz, face signed Jas Cox, London; and two 'Makara' bangles, applied with royal blue, red and green enamel, and inset with table-cut diamonds, circular-cut rubies and paste, Indian, possibly Rajasthan, 19th century, circumference approximately 160 and 170mm respectively.

Condition
Gold evening bag with one small opening to the lower part of the mesh. The frame with scratches due to normal wear and slightly bent towards the opening. Rubies well matched. Flower brooch clock not working at time of cataloguing. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches. Case does not close properly and tarnish to the back. 'Makara' bangles, one broken due to it's fragility and age.
