The painting is in good condition. The canvas is laid on board, which is free of cracks or warping. Examination under UV light reveals some spots of retouching on the upper right edge. A few minute specks are also detected on the skirt hemline of the right-most figure. A few small spots of retouching forming a thin vertical pattern are found on the right register (on the blue kebaya of the figure on right, as well as on the sands below her). A few spots of retouching is found on the head of the fourth figure from the right, in between the fingers of the lady in blue-kebaya. Scattered dots are found on the sea (right side of the sea area) and some spots are detected on the boats near the shore. Touch-up has also been done on the beach shores (the area just above the figure wearing red kebaya's knees, under her chin and above her ankle). Restoration are apparent only after examination with UV light. Some minute age craquelures are visible under close scrutiny but the paint layers seem intact and in stable condition.
