- A self-portrait of the artist, half length, wearing black with a white ruff
- oil on canvas
Condition
The canvas has be relined. The paint surface is generally sound if a little abraded in areas. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals scattered strengthenings and retouchings throughout. There are two small areas of restoration. Offered in a carved wood frame in fair condition with some minor knocks.
