Description
- An angel playing a harp, possibly an Allegory of music
- inscribed on a ribbon lower left: HEC TVO/ DIGNA/ COTHVRNO
- oil on canvas, unframed
Condition
The canvas has been very recently relined. The paint surface is in fair condition with some crqauelure and under a thick varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals some discoloured retouchings. There is what appears to be a vertical seam in the canvas running 40 cms from the left edge. Unframed.
