Anonymous sale, London, Sotheby's, 19 February 1997, lot 82, for £5,000, where purchased by the present owner.
Condition
The canvas is unlined. The paint surface is fairly abraded and dirty with some paint flaking off along the edges. There are scattered retouchings.
Offered in a carved wood and plaster gilt frame in fair condition.
