The canvas has an old relining. The paint surface is under a very dirty varnish. There are several areas of paint loss and discoloured retouchings. Inspection under UV light confirms these. There are some surface scratches as visible in the catalogue illustration. Offered in a modern wood frame in reasonable condition with some minor knocks.
