Description
- a still life with a knife, a partly-peeled lemon, a compass, an oyster, a sword, shells, wine leaves around a roemer of wine and the jawbone of an ass on a pewter plate, all on a partly-draped table, a landscape beyond

Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is secure, although somewhat abraded and under a dirty varnish. There are scattered retouchings. Inspection under UV is hindered by the varnish. Offered in a carved Northern wood frame in good condition.
