- portrait of a lady, half length, holding an earring and revealing her left breast, possibly Maria Mancini as Cleopatra (?)

Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is somewhat abraded in the background and is covered by quite discoloured varnish. There are some areas of retouching, notably some restored damage under the sitter's left shoulder. There are further retouchings in her arm, sleeve, face and hair. Offered in a modern wood frame with some paint losses.
